Conceived In Rape Awareness began as a desire to see people truly touched by the rape conceived stories I have encountered while speaking about my own life story. I have met wonderful talented individuals willing to share their story also. A group of six and sometimes eight people were together in New York City for the first time sharing impacting stories one after another. One person sharing a story is incredible but having six people at the same time leaves an audience touched like never before. My goal is to show that people like me are not as few as the world would think. It is also a major goal to get people to see us as deserving of life.

When people can see and know us it makes it easier to say no to abortion in our case. I hope to eliminate the "exception" rule.
One young woman, Liz Carl, shared that she received healing from her rape conceived son. She chose an open adoption for her son. Another woman, Irene Van De Wende shared that she had been talked into an abortion for her rape conceived child only to find out ten years later that she was conceived in rape. The only man,Tony Keissling, in our group in New York was raised by his birth mother while Rebecca Keissling(no relation), Kristi Hofferber and I were placed for adoption. Rebecca was conceived by a serial rapist and I was conceived in gang rape. Kristi was conceived in incest. An aquaintance raped Tony's mother.

Many stories, many situations, but always a life at risk. Please help me get the word out to the world that we are humans deserving a life like anyone else. Rape conceived people want a life to love!

I also want to enable those who feel worthless because of how they were conceived to feel worthy of life too. My plans are to reach out to places like Rowanda also because there are over 20,000 people conceived in rape or affected by rape living with a stigma placed on them by society. I want all people to know they are made in the image of God. No man can create life without God.
